Tammy Salyer is an ex-paratrooper from SoCal who probably knows twenty ways to maim you using only her right pinky finger. She's also an editor and author of the acclaimed Spectras Arise sci-fi trilogy, which I highly recommend.
Erik Wecks is a full-time writer and blogger from the Pacific Northwest and creator of the Pax Imperium novels, another one of my favorites. Stay tuned for his next book,

Ceri London authored Rogue Genesis, one of my favorite reads of 2014. It's a hugely imaginative blend of science fiction and fantasy that will make you write her an email to ask about the status of Book 2. (Later this year, I already asked.)
